Apartment Review for Lakeside At Campeche Apartment - Galveston, TX

I don't know what happened - maybe it was Ike, maybe they changed management - but this place is HORRIBLE! First, I let them know that I needed a 3 month lease because my wife and children were moving down in a few months to be with me. They said no problems but to sign it as a 6 month so I could get their special and then they would just let me out of it early. Well, that time came and they said 'ok, that will be $1500'. They wouldn't let me out of it, as they had promised previous. There is also a feral colony (not one or two, but around 20) stray cats in the area. They set traps then say 'its not our problem' when people trip them up. Finally, there is a major (like killing 5 cockroaches a night) cockroach infestation here on top floor apartments that they refuse to get rid of. Don't move in here. The management doesn't care about their clientele.
